Robert Benton, CFP^®

Rob is proud to bring his clients a broad understanding of the financial markets, along with his brand of insights and service, since he started his career at Morgan Stanley in 1997. Since 2000, Rob has partnered with Al at Wells Fargo, then at Wachovia Securities in 2005 (the same year he earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification). 

Rob and his late spouse Terri both graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill. Terri, whose first cancer diagnosis was breast cancer in 2003, lost her fight with cancer in April of 2021. His oldest daughter lives and works in Charlotte, and his son is a senior at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

He is an active member of the Charlotte Financial Planners Association and a member of the Bridge Foundation, a local independent nonprofit that provides scholarships to local high school students. Rob also supports and is active in Carolina Breast Friends, a nonprofit that Terri was a founding member of, along with the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
